There will be another election at the next regular monthly meeting of the Garland County Republican Party. Mr Ben Bancroft was elected as Committee Chairman in the January meeting and therefore had to submit his resignation as the District 4 Committeeman. Therefore there will be an election to fill that position at the next meeting.
There will also be a vote to reestablish the filing fees that we originally voted on at the December meeting. Turns out a new state rule requires the filing fees to be set during Jan or Feb of the election year so that vote will have to be re-accomplished to be in compliance with the state rules.
If you can not attend, please check with our Secretary, Mr Larry Rainey and submit a proxy form. The proxy form does not allow anyone to vote for you, but it does allow you to be counted for the presence of a quorum. Without a quorum we are unable to officially conduct business. A proxy statement on file is good for one year should you be unable to attend.
