Call to Order: 6:18 PM by Chairman Glenn Gallas
Invocation & Pledge

Recognition of elected officials: Sue Vaugn, JP District 10 & Larry Griffin, JP District 11
Recognition of Guests
Secretary’s Report Quorum established from sign in roster of 21 members.
Minutes of prior meeting provided via email. Jonathon Morgan motioned to approve, second Larry Griffin, minutes approved unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report:
Chairman Gallas presented uneventful treasurer’s report. Motion to approve made by Barbara Deuschle, seconded by Chuck Chattham, Treasurer’s report approved.
Committee Reports:
Members were encouraged to get involved in one of our committees: Finance, Program, Fundraising, Campaign, Public Relations, or Allied.
Old Business: Garland County Elected Official Brochure is Completed.
4th District meeting scheduled for Sept 12th is being moved.
State Committee: Barbara Deuschle, nothing major to report.
4th District: No report
Election Commission: Twila Brown reminded everyone of the upcoming school board elections.
Quorum Court: Issues at the fore are the jail and the double dipping county officials.
Introduction of Guest Speaker: Tom Cox, Candidate for Blanche Lincoln’s Senate seat.
